Mobile site created for international art gallery, Hauser & Wirth with galleries in London, Zurich and New York. The gallery represents emerging and established contemporary artists across the globe, including Roni Horn, Dan Graham and Louise Bourgeois.
The largely visual nature of the content led us to maintain a minimal approach, creating a reserved and unobtrusive interface which makes best use of the limited space a mobile phone screen has to offer, whilst not to the detriment of viewing artworks.
Acting in a similar fashion to a native app the mobile site has a new navigation in contrast to the desktop version of the site. The mobile site uses the gallery's existing database as the sole source of content, and is built on a JQTouch framework.
